College days - Happy days Episode # 1

College days

This is where we have to roll a mosquito coil in front of your face. OK Guys don’t get confused this is the common scene comes whenever there is A flashback which going to start. This is not the Sanjay singhania (Ghajini) Flashback starting with a chartered flight landing in an Airport. This is about my college days one post is not enough for this so this is a Mega serial to get started.


August 6th 2002, the day I joined an engineering college i.e. Srinivasa Institute of engineering & technology, Chennai with all dreams and Expectations to live the life fullest in college. First day I was accompanied by my parents with new jeans and a casual shirt. Felt very happy to dress like that after 14 years jailed in School uniforms.
After all the formalities in the Office room Administrative officer asked me and my parents to meet the Principal. With little amount fear we went inside principal’s cabin. Can’t control laughing after seeing the Principal who was reading a Tamil daily newspaper in his seat dressed in a blue suit. Once he saw me the first word he uttered “Why are you like this? I thought he is asking that am very lean. I gave a smile didn’t answer his question. This moment was the greatest emotional Moment in my life. He asked where your Uniform is. I was puzzled Uniform...... I asked what uniform? Answer was very depressing our College students have to wear Uniform for the College its Chocolate Brown trousers (Pant) and Cream shirt. Get your uniform and come to College tomorrow. I came out of the principal cabin with great Disappointment and I could see a glimpse of smile from my father.

After all the Uniform mayhem I went to the college next day.
Office Boy accompanied me to the class room which was fully air conditioned. I cleared my throat and knocked the door “Sir May I come in?” Yes come in the other voice said. My engineering mechanics sir introduced himself to me “hey am Shatrache" I guess I spelled it correct. Went inside the class room. It was all Greek and Latin to me with full derivations and problems. I still remember the first university exam for this paper engineering mechanics. The paper leaked out and I answered even choice questions. Next day newspapers reveal that the Exam is canceled and it is postponed to another day.


I guess too much of words make the blog like an essay.... Am giving a Commercial break here.... I told you guys that it’s a Mega serial... Have to wait for a next Blog....... Where the real Fun starts.....
