College days - Happy days Episode # 3

Hurray!!

Things have changed a lot, busy life are changed by sitting idle in front of the PC don’t know what to do? How to start the third episode...Finally with a great courage here I am with my 4th post for my blog and 3rd episode of College days happy days. Had a good response with the previous posts from Former Last bench students of my college!! Cheers guys.

After all the hungama of Uniform episode, Physics lecturers punch lines, Workshop heroics. Things were settling down in college. Routine started in my life Getting up in the morning , Board the college bus ,Short break @ 10 , Lunch break @ 1 and then board the bus to go home, Come home watch TV and sleep late night. One thing which drives everyone to come to college regularly are Seven letter word which means a lot and brings happiness in our face when we say it "FRIENDS"...

Am not going to blow the trumpet saying that am easy going, Open book and people like me. If someone says like that its bullshit and he is a Moron. From childhood days am good at pulling legs, criticizing people. Whoever likes that are my friends and the others who are they? Likewise my college friends Last benchers are good at pulling legs in Tamil people used to say Mokkai vangurathu , Mokkai kudukarathu. ;) We were doing Bachelors in computer science engineering however my friends and I had a Doctorate in art of Mokkai. Here is one instance that will tell how we have doctorate.

On a Tuesday during 2nd semester I and 4 other friends planned to bunk the college. My college is in outskirts of Chennai and surrounded by paddy fields and was fenced. Behind the Boys restroom there was a motor room which was never used and there was a passage to go out of the college without getting noticed to others. The operation was planned after tea break @ 10. Two guys should go first others will follow them. Somehow after the tea break we managed to come out of the college and were nearly 1 Km away from college. My friend Dharani gave a great idea to us so that we won’t get caught or recognized by non teaching staff. The idea of the century was to "tuck out the shirt" so that no one recognizes us. After this suggestion he became gang leader of our group to give such kind of weird ideas. Ever since that instances if we have a plan of bunking the college we would miss the college bus and assemble in Dharani house and catch a movie or do nothing than discussing and fighting about Ajith and Vijay sometimes we talk about girls that too lecturers who work in our college, other than this we didn’t have anything to talk about. Some of the lecturers were just passed out from there colleges good looking too ;)

When we see any movie which is based with college story there would be a rivalry between one department with the other almost 90% of college stories are like that. Whereas in our colleges it was always a fight/rivalry between juniors and seniors. Whenever a fight starts between a first year and second year guy it ends with a compromise talks which were bit boring in our college.

During free hours by the end of the day we used play football in our college. To be very precise some people will be playing others as usual roam around and relax. After we had a game of football me and my friends were roaming around didn’t know what exactly to do. My friend Sai Kanna found 3 guys sitting under the tree with an innocent look. He somehow found out they are from Andre Pradesh. So he went near them and pulled their legs, made fun of them to be simple he was trying to rag them and we left from their and sat inside the bus. Suddenly around 6 guys came inside the bus and surrounded us with an angry look. Then we knew that those guys who sat under the tree were our seniors. We got shocked and were bit nervous how to handle the situation. As usual things started with compromise talks and we became friends. This time the compromise was bit different it was done in Telugu. Me and Sai Kanna somehow spoke broken Telugu and compromised with them and become brothers. However I have to admit that girls from AP in our college were good looking but Boys were like comic characters. There were around half dozen girls from AP and they are one year senior to us. If a guy from CSE dept or IT dept says that he is not aware of those girls then that fellow is joking or he is a dumb.

Our college used to conduct monthly unit tests and they used to conduct like a semester exams with seating arrangement. Luckily the college won’t allow girls and boys to sit/talk in bus or in college campus. Unit tests are an exception. I used to sit with an AP girl while writing the unit test. There were several times I used to sleep or just sit simply without writing the test. She used to help me in the tests by writing the answers in question paper and showing it to me. I used to wonder how these people are so brainy they remember previous year’s subject. After those unit tests I got to know about them and whenever they see me a smile with a Hi or hello will be shared at least unit tests helps sometimes to show off before my friends and tell them Something is better than nothing.

Ting time for commercial break........ Next post will be a list of nick names & their original names. So it’s time for some controversy and tell them who they are... Am feeling tired now will return after sometime with punch....

The brain is a wonderful organ.
It starts working the moment you get up in the morning
And does not stop until you get into the office.
